Eskimo & Sons are a young bunch of earnest pop minstrels who apply their sweet vision to our dystopian reality. Their live shows have garnered much attention recently - vocalist Danielle Sullivan lures the audience into their world with her fluid tones. The band grounds her floating voice with subtle melodies and laid back rhythms, and the lyrics speak in honest metaphor. This disc feels like sharing a drink on someones back porch at dusk.
